SEEK 2013 reaches more than 6,000

Five days. 6,300 young adults. Countless souls impacted for Christ.

Our bi-annual national conference, SEEK 2013, was recently held in sunny Orlando and featured some of the top speakers in the Church today. Matthew Kelly, Helen Alvare, Patrick Lencioni and several others inspired our students to grow and thrive in their Catholic faith.

“It’s exciting to see so many people who care about their faith who love Jesus and want to follow Jesus and love the Church,” said Jeremy Rivera our director of communications. “Wherever you are on the spectrum of faith, or not even on the spectrum – an atheist, an agnostic, spiritual but not religious – there’s a place for you here.”

During the conference, more than 5,000 received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Catholic singer/songwriter Matt Maher and brother/sister group L’Angelus performed during the evenings, which also included a powerful hours-long Eucharistic Adoration. The Blessed Sacrament was also exposed in a large room at the hotel for 24 hours a day, each day of the conference.

Students representing more than 330 colleges and universities attended SEEK, the most-attended conference for Catholic college students in the U.S.
