A Year in Review: FOCUS Annual Report, 2015

“Be Soldiers.”
— Pope Saint John Paul II to Curtis Martin, 1997

In the past year, we have witnessed more profoundly than ever before the fruits of spiritual growth on the campuses in which FOCUS has taken root. As we celebrate the blessings of growth and support, we recognize the hand which God has had in this work since the very beginning.

In November 1997, mere months before FOCUS was formally launched, Curtis brought his hopes and vision for FOCUS to Pope Saint John Paul II. His Holiness told Curtis: “Be soldiers.” Taking these words to heart, FOCUS has spent the past 17 years sending missionaries to the front lines of the culture — the college campus — to fight the worthiest battle of all time: the salvation of souls through Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to God for all He has helped us accomplish:

In the FY15 Annual Report, missionaries, chaplains, students, alumni and benefactors who fight this noble battle with us tell their stories, too, sharing the many ways God’s mercy is at work in FOCUS today. With God’s grace, we hope to continue to transform the culture and change the lives of students everywhere, one invitation at a time.
