FOCUS missionaries meet young people where they are on college campuses. While there, missionaries invite students into their lives, sharing Christ with them through authentic friendships — the same way Jesus invested deeply in His Apostles, who then went out to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

This inspired model of evangelization has helped FOCUS grow from two missionaries on a single campus in 1998 to more than 660 missionaries serving 137 college campuses around the world today.

Our national conferences unite thousands of students from around the world to learn about the Catholic faith, experience genuine fellowship and unite as members of the Body of Christ.

SEEK

SEEK gathers thousands of college students together from across the country for a time of prayer, fellowship, engaging talks, inspiring entertainment and, most importantly, a chance to encounter Christ in a life-changing way. SEEK2017 welcomed nearly 13,000 attendees from all over the world.

SLS

SLS inspires and equips participants to become the leaders they were created to be. Attendees receive training and resources to become disciple makers immediately upon return to their campus or parish — and through it, they receive the confidence and valuable life skills they need to become the leaders the world so desperately needs.

• To date, there are more than 24,000 FOCUS alumni
• Last year alone, nearly 20,000 students were involved with FOCUS programs
• More than 660 FOCUS missionaries serve on campuses in the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Austria
• 674 FOCUS alumni have made decisions to pursue the priesthood or religious life
• Between 2011 and 2017, FOCUS more than doubled in size, increasing from 58 to 137 campuses
• In five years, FOCUS’ goal is to be on 250 campuses with nearly 70,000 FOCUS alumni

• According to the CIRP Freshman Survey, college students with no religious affiliation have tripled in the last 30 years, from 10% in 1986 to 31% in 2016
• Over the same period, those who attended religious service dropped from 85% to 69%
• Nearly 80% of those raised Catholic but are now unaffiliated with any religion left the faith by age 23¹
• Only 30% of Americans raised Catholic are still practicing²
• Over a 12-month period, more than 40% of college students reported feelings of hopelessness³
